Workshops with the Burnside Painting Group

Held earlier in 2018

Recent Workshop: Patrick Hedges: Scraper Board drawing held on Sunday 4 March 2018

Orangutan on scraperboard by Patrick Hedges.

Scratchboard is a unique and versatile fine art medium.

In this workshop, students learn about different tools and different techniques and try to complete one small piece in the day so they can put what we learned into action.

About Patrick Hedges

Patrick says:  "I am a wildlife artist specialising in the medium of Scratchboard.  I was born in Africa, lived there for many years and I’ve returned often. I grew up with wildlife and art in my blood. I’m passionate about wildlife and this forms a large part of my portfolio, but I am also fascinated by the people of the world too and create many portraits from my travels."
