Any member of the Burnside Painting Group who has not won any monetary prizes within the previous 12 months is eligible to enter this competition.

In recent years, it has been held during our Annual Exhibition in August, as the winner of the popular vote, by ballot, of visitors to our exhibition.

A cash prize is awarded to the winner and runner up.  Awards certificates are provided to both first and second prize on the night of judging.

Entry fees of $2.00 per entry contribute to the cash prize.  First prize is awarded 80% of the total prize money and 20% goes to the runner up.

Entry forms are made available prior to the running of the competition.  All paintings must be framed and the artist's signature should be masked.
